This Certification is a standalone modality or a compliment to your tool box.
On completion of the course, graduates will be qualified in Photonic Therapy for horses. This professional practitioner course will enable skills in assessment, observation and treatment with a variety of applications.
Proudly this certification course can be a student’s entry into the equine therapist world with no prerequisites or an additional modality in the already qualified equine therapist’s toolkit.
Graduates will be empowered with a basic understanding of traditional Chinese medicine theory, acupoints, meridians, the application of the light device, not forgetting the science behind red light therapy. This will enable a confident all round practitioner who is able to think, plan to be able to assist in the maintenance, health and wellbeing of companion horses through to sport horses.
The course was originally theory and 3 day practical, but went online only with the halt in travel.
Now with the resumption of travel the Certificate can either be online or combined as people learn via a variety of sensory input. Support is always available personally or extra mentorship can be arranged. The goal is for students to be confident in their knowledge of Photonic Therapy.
As part of the course there is not only theory about red light therapy or currently now known as photobiomodulation, but also anatomy, biomechanics and assessment. This then encompasses a good basis and foundation for either a functional and/or acupoint plan when applying the devices.
This course is accredited by the Equine Therapies Association of Australia (ETAA) and the International Institute of Complementary Therapies (IICT) therefore allowing graduates to be able to obtain insurance and membership with these associations.

EQUINE PHOTONIC THERAPY - (note: non CERTIFICATION)

- Option to Upgrade to practitioner and add on the Case Studies ($200)
- Option to take a 3 day practical ($550)
This Course is the same as the Practitioner course minus the case studies and Facebook support group.
It will provide a good basis and foundation for either a functional and/or acupoint plan when applying the devices.
There is the option to upgrade before the 12 month expiry.

- More in depth knowledge than an introductory course
- Horse Anatomy
- How to utilise any light therapy devices
- Assessment and treatment plans for your own horses
- Integrating basic TCM and acupoints as part of an over all plan
